Revisiting lighting and composition (read and respond)

This photo rightfully won this award. The photo was in black and white which really brought out the contracts of the sky against the plane. The leading lines captured add depth to the photo, and make it more detailed. The photo also has parallelism and backlighting with makes the plane a silhouette. I agree with the award he won because of all the compositions of photography used in this photo.
